Practice Makes Progress

We often hear, “Practice makes perfect.”

Nope. No one is perfect.

Practice makes progress.

When I’m practicing for a presentation, I work on a segment each day. I record myself and listen back to cut wordiness, add anecdotes, or adjust my delivery.

Ongoing practice allows me time to process and reflect on how I want to deliver my message to the audience.

If you’re presenting or facilitating training, prioritize daily practice. Block time on your calendar, remove distractions, and focus on practice.

With just 15 minutes daily, you can improve your delivery and alleviate some anxiety. And that’s progress!
